Complete your profile before you start browsing
Your profile drives your matches. A complete profile, including specialty, credentials, years of experience, and availability, helps Ethesia surface the most relevant roles and makes a stronger first impression when employers view your application.
Set your preferences early
Preferences shape what you see. Taking a few minutes to set your ideal location, job type, and specialty filters means less noise and more relevant results from the start.
Use the map intentionally
Jobs appear as live pins on the map. Explore by location, zoom in on specific areas, and get a real sense of the opportunity and location. This is especially useful if you’re open to relocation or exploring multiple areas at once. Further filter by profession, specialty, location, and job type in the search bar.
Save jobs you want to revisit
Not ready to apply yet? Save the role and come back when the timing is right. Your saved jobs won’t disappear as you continue browsing.
Hide jobs that aren’t a fit
If a role keeps appearing and isn’t relevant to you, hide it. Keeping your map view clean helps you focus on what actually matters.
Follow up on your applications
Once you’ve submitted a Quick Apply, keep an eye on your Messages. Employers respond inside Ethesia, so check back regularly and reply promptly, timely responses keep you top of mind. And when needed, send a follow-up message to help keep you updated.
Keep your profile current
Your availability and preferences may change over time. Update your profile as your situation evolves so your matches stay accurate and employers see the most current version of you.
