Core Matching Criteria

First, we filter candidates by three essential requirements. A candidate must match all three to be considered:

  • Professional title: Must exactly match your job's profession (e.g., CRNA, Anesthesiologist)

  • Location: Must include your job's state in their location preferences

  • Duration type: Must match your job's work arrangement (Full Time, Locum Tenens, etc.)

Match Quality Scoring (0-200 points)

After filtering by core criteria, we rank candidates using a comprehensive quality score:

πŸ”₯ Recent Activity (0-100 points)

Based on the candidate's most recent login, inquiry, or profile/preference update:

  • 0-30 days: 100 points

  • 31-60 days: 80 points

  • 61-90 days: 60 points

  • 91-180 days: 40 points

  • 181-365 days: 20 points

  • 365+ days: Not matched (inactive)

πŸ“„ Resume Uploaded (0-50 points)

Candidates with resumes on file receive 50 bonus points. This allows you to review their qualifications immediately.

πŸ’¬ Engagement Level (0-30 points)

Based on the number of job inquiries the candidate has made:

  • 5+ inquiries: 30 points

  • 3-4 inquiries: 20 points

  • 2 inquiries: 10 points

  • 1 inquiry: 5 points

✨ Profile Completeness (0-20 points)

5 points each for:

  • Phone number verified

  • Professional description added

  • Profile photo uploaded

  • Multiple locations in preferences

Understanding Candidate Types

On your dashboard, candidates are shown with colored rings and badges indicating how they were added:

  • Matched (Pink ring): Automatically matched by our AI based on your job requirements

  • Sourced (Orange ring): You proactively found them using Talent Finder

  • Inquired (Green ring): They directly expressed interest in your job posting

Why This Matters

  • βœ“ Recently active candidates: You receive only candidates who are actively seeking jobs

  • βœ“ Resume prioritization: Candidates with resumes are prioritized for faster hiring decisions

  • βœ“ Engagement signals intent: Candidates with inquiry history show serious job-seeking intent

  • βœ“ Complete profiles: Indicate professional, committed candidates

This matching system ensures you spend your time on the candidates most likely to respond and be a great fit for your positions.
